A Bloodborne player has just made a fresh hidden loot discovery, and we can’t believe we missed this.
Bloodborne, as well as other FromSoftware games that fit underneath the ‘Soulsborne’ umbrella, is filled with various secrets and hidden discoveries just waiting for you to find.
Many of these can go months or even years without being found, but you’d think that after ten years everything would have already been discovered and documented.
Well, think again. One Bloodborne player in particular has just made a secret loot discovery that we never saw coming, and it could hint to more hidden things still being out there.

Exploring what appears to be one of Bloodborne’s many Chalice Dungeons, the player in question found a chest that was completely hidden behind a wall. Despite this, they were able to interact with the chest and receive the item that was in it.
“Ah yes find a chest through a wall how normal,” writes the player, sharing the clip to Reddit. “I'm a bit annoyed cause I didn't even need the red jelly and now I'm haunted thinking what else did I miss.”
FromSoftware Games Can Sometimes Be Very Buggy
Developer oversight or genuine bug? Well, it could be a bit of both. Bloodborne’s Chalice Dungeons are procedurally generated (or at least, some of them are), meaning the layout of each dungeon changes according to a seed.
With such wild variations in how each dungeon is laid out, with randomised enemies, items, and rooms, it means that funky glitches like this are bound to happen from time-to-time.
“Huh, I've got hundreds of hours in this game and that's new to me,” reads a response from a player within the same Reddit thread.

Other players have taken to sharing their own weird discoveries, proving that this isn’t the only case of bugged chests and items appearing in Bloodborne.
“I had a big gold chest spawn in a chalice room, right in front of the doorway, faced the other way too so I couldn't get in nor open it no matter how much I tried. Happens with randomized dungeons I guess,” reads another comment.
“The chests are destroyable in Bloodborne if I remember correctly?” reads another comment.
“It just takes a big amount of hits to do so. It was probably implemented because they can be blocking the way in root chalices (which is exactly like your reason).”
