Of all the RPGs in all the world, few can compete The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in terms of depth of world, with secrets around seemingly every corner. Some of those secrets are now notorious spots that everyone visits as a rite of passage, but others remain unknown to even the most dedicated players.
We've all worked out how to get the Mace of Molag Bal or taken the Bard's Leap at Lost Valley Redoubt, but some of the coolest secrets in the game are a lot smaller and a lot more difficult to find in the first place.
Over on Reddit, one user shared their secret that they claim only "0.001% of players" know. "In the Midden, under the College of Winterhold, there is a room with ceiling beams. You may have passed through it on your way to the Atronach Forge hundreds of times," they said.
"Unbeknownst to most (and that includes both the UESP and the Wikia), on top of one of these ceiling beams and completely out of sight, stands a wooden bucket filled with ingots. You can't reach it, but you can jump and get a glimpse of it and then bring it down with a shout, and collect the ingots."

The finicky nature of finding the treasure and making use of it should do more than enough to make it one of the best kept secrets in all of Skyrim.
The Midden contains a bunch of other fun little secrets and treats to look out for, including a couple of rubies in the eyes of a dearly departed skeleton and a very rare Alchemy skill book.
Next time you're hopping into the Bethesda's Legendary, Special, or Anniversary Editions of Skyrim, keep an eye out over your head and you never know what you might find in the ceiling rafters.
