Hogwarts Legacy fans counting down days till we get new DLC

It’s been quite a while since DLC was announced for Hogwarts Legacy, scheduled to expand the base game as a ‘Definitive Edition.’

The proposed expansion for Hogwarts Legacy was announced back October 2024, adding additional content, a new story mission, and side quests.

Fans are, understandably, holding out for more details and news on a release date as the release window was a wide “2025.”

“I’ll believe it when I see it,” said NoMore_Peanut in a Reddit thread about the DLC.

Players are using the long wait to speculate on what else the DLC will bring to the game.

“This is amazing. I really hope we also get New Game Plus, I’d love to replay the story with all the clothing options instantly locked, so I don’t have to grind for all the collectibles each time,” comments TheLoneJedi-77.

The DLC will rebrand the game as ‘Definitive Edition’ so many are wondering if it will be a large swathe of new things to do.

It’ll come a few years after the initial release of the base game, so fans are eager to dive back in with another playthrough.

“Yay, I’ll make a badger this time and replay the whole thing,” said -Vermillion-.

“I keep going back to Ravenclaw. Love being able to leave and enter the common room via the roof. Just head up and take off on the broom,” filmguerilla said, eagerly.

If the DLC is still on track, it’s likely we’ll her much more about what’s to come, this year.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a trailer in the next few months, perhaps with a summer release, which is when we got the last big update for the game.
