If you’re looking for new and free content for Hogwarts Legacy, then you’re in the right place, fellow Muggle.
Originally released in February 2023 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, before arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 this month, Hogwarts Legacy is arguably the best video game inspired by Harry Potter’s Wizarding World.
As if the Hogwarts Legacy experience couldn't get any better, in January 2025, official mod support for the game was announced with additional creative tools provided by its developer, Avalanche Software.

Mods are typically exclusive to PC, other than a few Bethesda exceptions such as Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Starfield, but according to an official FAQ, mod support for Hogwarts Legacy on consoles isn't completely ruled out. So, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
“Mods are supported for Hogwarts Legacy on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Please note, mods are not currently supported for the console versions of Hogwarts Legacy,” states the FAQ in question.
Speaking of mods, ‘Twilight Labyrinth Dungeon’, created by MoxxyHaven might pique your interest, because it adds a whole new creepy area to Hogwarts Legacy for free (though you can donate to its creator, if you choose).
“Near Hogsmeade, there is an abandoned village under a magical enchantment. This village cannot be seen through ordinary means, but you have managed to access it,” its description reads.

“Explore the village and uncover the reason why it was abandoned. Collect various items, experience points, and money along the way. The chests you obtain can be opened by other characters as well. You can farm them in advance for a new character.”
Since its launch in February 2025, ‘Twilight Labyrinth Dungeon’ has been downloaded over 6,000 times (and counting), which should be a good indication of its quality. It also received a recent update in April.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
