For a limited time, you can take advantage of a rare saving on the Xbox Series S following a ‘disappointing’ Black Friday sale effort.
While PlayStation consoles, accessories, and games were heavily discounted by Amazon last month, the humble Xbox seemed to receive no love.
Thankfully, in a move that’s bound to appeal to anyone hoping to upgrade their games device, or jump ship from Sony, the retailer has announced a discount on both 512GB and 1TB version of the Xbox Series S.
This post-Cyber Monday deal sees the budget-friendly devices being reduced by 10 percent and six percent, respectively.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Xbox Series S discounted by Amazon
Amazon shoppers can get a Xbox Series S with 512GB of storage for £269.99.

The console, which is usually priced at £299.99, is discounted by 10 percent for a limited time.
If you want more room to download and play games, such as Mortal Kombat, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Starfield, then the 1TB version may be for you.
Instead of the usual £349.99 price tag, you can grab the Xbox Series S 1TB for £329.99, saving six percent.

How long will Xbox Series S saving be live for?
The Xbox Series S discount is not part of Amazon’s Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale, which means it doesn’t have a definite end day advertised.
This means that if you want to buy the console before Christmas, it’s worth purchasing it sooner, rather than later.
Xbox Series S reviews
86 percent of buyers have rated the 1TB Xbox Series S five stars, with one hailing it as a ‘great piece of kit’.
“Updated Xbox for my son. Better images for updated gages and a lot more speed than the Xbox one,” said someone else.
The 512GB Xbox Series S, which has a solid 4.6-star rating, has been purchased more than 2,000 times in the past month.

Some reviewers have praised the next-gen console for its ‘good graphics’, game optimisation, and fast dispatch from Amazon.
“Powerful little thing. Obviously not as powerful as the X Series. But this does the job just fine in my opinion! It’s very quiet wouldn’t know it’s on and can play all the latest releases for a fraction of the price,” said another purchaser.
“Not to be ignored if you are in the market for a console.”
