Silent Hill drops huge $90 saving on two of its best entries ahead of Halloween weekend

Halloween is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for scary games to play this weekend, Silent Hill has you covered with nearly $90 in savings on two of the best horror games of recent years. But be quick, because these discounts won't last forever.

The deals cover Konami's survival horror 2024 remake of Silent Hill 2 and 2025's Silent Hill f. The games are available separately rather than as a bundle, and the discounts aren't exclusive to Steam, as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players can also save.

So, grab yourself a horror game bargain and get your Halloween gaming fix sorted before it's too late!

How much can you save on Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f?

These discounts apply specifically to the Deluxe Editions, rather than the standard editions. To put this into perspective, buying Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Edition and Silent Hill f Deluxe Edition individually at full price would cost $159.98/£134.98. Even the official digital bundle costs $119.99/£104.99 at full price, which is a tidy discount in itself.

Right now, Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Edition costs just $31.99/£27.99, down from $79.99/£69.99. Meanwhile, Silent Hill f Deluxe Edition costs just $39.99/£32.49, down from $79.99/£64.99.

In total, buying both Deluxe Editions separately at their current sale prices will save you $88/£74.50 — a combined discount of around 55%. Best of all, similar discounts are also available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, although prices and savings vary by platform.

Don't miss this free Silent Hill game on PS5

If you already own both games on PlayStation 5 and are on the lookout for a Silent Hill experience that won't cost you a penny, then 2024's Silent Hill: The Short Message is worth checking out.

It's a short game, probably taking around two hours to complete, but for a quality freebie, it's hard to complain. However, as you'd expect from this iconic Konami series, Silent Hill: The Short Message explores some heavy themes.

“Following messages from her friend Maya, Anita finds herself at a crumbling apartment block, infamous for rumours of suicides,” reads the game's synopsis.

“Drawn inside, Anita soon finds her sense of reality shattered as she encounters bizarre, otherworldly spaces, haunted by a twisted monster. Maya's message was clear — ‘can't leave till you find it’ — but what is it that Anita is really looking for?”
