There are certain products that make our lives easier and believe it or not but once you’ve added a charging stand to your gaming setup, you’ll wonder how you went so long without one.

Not only does it keep your wireless controllers charged but it can also charge everything from your headsets to your external hard drive, while helping to keep your physical discs – with space for up to 14 games – neatly organised, as well.

But where it really comes into its own is with its cooling capabilities.

I mean, if your PlayStation has ever overheated or it routinely switches itself while you’re mid-game because it’s become too hot after even just a few hours of gameplay, you’ll know how important it is to keep your gaming console cool and this charging stand has a built-in three-speed cooling fan that sucks hot air from the bottom of the console to stop it from becoming too hot in the first place.

All you need to do is screw it in place to the stand and you’re good to go and we definitely appreciate the sleek white design that matches the white PS5 perfectly.

While it might not be quite a match for those lucky enough to have special edition versions of the PlayStation, in colours like black or red, it should complement most setups.

And given the number of functions that a charging stand like this one has, it’s not surprising that you can expect to pay close to £40 for it. But thanks to Amazon’s Big Deals Day, it’s currently just £33.99.

So, if you’ve always had one on your wishlist or want to try one out after reading the above, you’ll want to add one to your basket sooner rather than later, as it will only be discounted for 48 hours.

You will also need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of the deal. If you haven't signed up to it in the past, you can get a free 30-day trial to gain access. Alternatively, it costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year and comes with a number of perks such as Prime Video and expedited shipping.

What are customers saying?

With over 12,000 – yes, you heard us right, 12,000 – five-star reviews on Amazon, shoppers have taken to the website in their droves to share their thoughts on the charging stand.

One customer admitted: “It's great, does exactly what it's supposed to do . Seems to be fairly sturdy. Very happy with the extra USB ports on the front of it. The fan is extremely quiet, even on the highest setting – I had to put the television on mute just to hear the fan.”

While another added: “Well worth the price. Looks great, keeps everything charged and in place. Fans do the job, 3 settings. Thoroughly recommend it.”
