The PlayStation Store’s Critics’ Choice sale is now live on PS5 and PS4, bringing discounts to thousands of great games.
PlayStation hosts a lot of sales throughout the year, but the Critics’ Choice sale usually held in February tends to have some of the best games on offer.
Running from now until 25 February, you can grab discounts on over 1,700 PS4 and PS5 games, with many bangers from 2025 seeing decent prices.
PlayStation 5's Critics' Choice Sale Has Loads Of Bangers In A Deep Discount
Let’s dive into some of the best deals we’ve found on the sale so far. First up, let’s look at games that are currently under a fiver.
If you like action games, you can grab Batman: Return to Arkham, which comprises Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, for £3.49. Arkham Knight, weirdly, isn’t on sale though.

For horror fans, there are also many Resident Evil games on sale, such as the Resident Evil 1 Remaster, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 5 for £3.99.

You may also want to pick up Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, both £2.39 each. Or pick up the Saga Bundle, which includes the third game too for £7.49.
For racing game fans, you’ll certainly want to check out V-Rally 4 for £4.99, Need For Speed Rivals for £4.79, or Burnout Paradise Remastered for £4.49. Each game is great, but also cater to a slightly different playstyle.
Venturing a little more expensive, there are a bunch of LEGO games on sale for less than a tenner. You can pick up LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and LEGO 2K Drive for £9.99 each.
Other games I’d recommend at a decent price include Mortal Kombat 1 at £8.99, Catherine: Full Body for £6.99, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for £6.39.
Some pretty great picks there if you like those kinds of games.

As for the best games from last year we’d recommend picking up on sale, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for 20% off at £35.99, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is 50% off at £34.99, and Monster Hunter Wilds is 50% off at £32.49.
Of course, I’d recommend taking a look through the Critics’ Choice sale yourself, as there are thousands of games for you to take a look at, from hidden indie gems to AAA masterpieces.
