'Zelda: Ocarina Of Time' Inducted Into Video Game Hall Of Fame

HYAH

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games ever made. You probably already know this.

Nintendo took the winning formula it has established in A Link To The Past on the SNES and expertly transplanted it into a stunning, open 3D world for the N64. The forests, fields, dungeons, and monsters of Hyrule had never felt more alive in an epic tale of good VS evil that transcended time itself.

Take a look at some of our favourite Zelda moments below!

It's not like Ocarina Of Time never gets the recognition it deserves. You'll usually see it lurking it at the top of most Greatest Games Of All Time lists, and there are few who would argue it's anything less than a masterpiece.

Even so, it's really quite brilliant to see Nintendo's seminal adventure finally inducted into the Video Game Hall Of Fame after all this time.

The Strong Museum has officially announced that the 1998 classic is to join its Hall Of Fame alongside Ms. Pac-ManDance Dance Revolution, and Civilization. Ocarina Of Time beat out a number of iconic nominees, including NBA Jam, PaRappa The Rapper, Resident Evil, Rogue, and the original Assassin's Creed.

Previous inductees since 2015 include Super Mario Bros., The Legend Of Zelda, Sonic The Hedgehog, The Sims, Final Fantasy VII, Minecraftand Donkey Kong. As you can see, Ocarina Of Time is in some high-quality company.
