Zelda fans salivating over Ocarina Of Time remake trailer: ‘we can only dream’

C'mon, Nintendo, we're all waiting

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake that Nintendo fans want is already a reality… it’s just not on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Considering just how beloved The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is, it’s surprising that Nintendo hasn’t cashed in on it more.

I mean, sure, we got The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on the Nintendo 3DS, and I guess The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a sequel to it as well, but we’ve never got a fully fledged, home console remake of the game.

That’s probably why this video, titled “The Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake Trailer we expect for the Nintendo Switch 2”, is filled to the brim with comments from people desperate for a real remake of the game.

“my brain just cried happy tears for my eyes cuz they were too busy watching this gorgeous reconstruction”, commented user @nmanpro1845.

“Looks like quite an impressive game world”, replied user @SonicJrandSarah.

“It would be neat to play a remake that was this realistic.”

Now, just to clarify if it wasn’t obvious, this isn’t an official video from Nintendo or anything.

This is actually a trailer made from several projects that have been developed by CryZENx, who has spent the last few years remaking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (and a bunch of other Nintendo games) in Unreal Engine 5.

Based on the popularity of his project, it’s clear that fans are desperate for a The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake down the line, so I can only hope that Nintendo have noticed his work and plan to follow it up with a remake of their own in the future.

Actually, wait a tic… maybe it’s a good thing that the notoriously litigious Nintendo haven’t noticed CryZENx’s projects, for his sake.
