The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks more gorgeous than ever in this stunning remake, as we all await the next game in the Nintendo series.

Firstly, when we say “remake”, it’s what’s described in the YouTube video featured in this article, but it is somewhat of a gorgeous remaster, it has to be said.

Now that the elephant in the room has been addressed, ever since its inception on the NES in 1986, The Legend of Zelda series has been one of Nintendo’s most popular properties, taking us all on countless adventures over the years, and the love for the franchise doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon.

Arguably, one of the best games in this beloved series is the aforementioned, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, released in 2017 on Nintendo Switch and the Wii U, earning a “Must-Play” accolade with a score of 97 on the aggregate website, Metacritic.

Breath of the Wild Has Had One Official Remaster

Praised for its sense of exploration, combat and crafting mechanics, and stunning visuals, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received a new-gen boost in 2025 on the Nintendo Switch 2.

However, if that new-gen update of Breath of the Wild didn't quite cut it for you, perhaps this new-gen remaster on PC might. The remaster in question is an emulated Wii U version enhanced by the content creator, Digital Dreams.

The emulated version of Breath of the Wild is being played on a beast of a gaming PC with ray tracing shaders, powered by an NVIDIA RTX 5090, played at a 4K resolution and 60 frames-per-second.

“Dude, that's straight-up leaked footage right there,” joked PierreChen91 in the YouTube comments, teasing that this is a leak of an official remaster.

“WOW, Zora’s Domain is amazing," praised BenOfficial9000.

“Only HDR left now,” said a hopeful staiain.

Is the Legend of Zelda Getting an Official Remake?

According to reports, it’s claimed that 1998’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is getting a full remake from the ground up. Ocarina of Time is not only considered to be the best game in the series with a 99 Metacritic score, but many consider it to be the greatest video game of all time.

If or when Nintendo announces The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, we’ll be sure to let you know.
