Following on from the current success of Marvel’s new Deadpool & Wolverine movie, players are happy to learn that Xbox is quietly bringing back a bunch of related games.

As always, Marvel is continuing to dominate the media with multiple films, shows and games scheduled to release over upcoming years.

Check out the official trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine below!

More recently, Deadpool & Wolverine is smashing box office records, a Hulk TV show is in the works and fans may have just found the “perfect” new Black Panther.

Whilst we wait for all these exciting projects to come to the big screen, Marvel fans are turning their attention to the game equivalents.

That is why many will be disappointed to learn that titles such as the Deadpool video game and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 were delisted long ago.

However, that may soon be changing according to insider Shpeshal Nick who has revealed that Microsoft is working to bring those titles back to the Xbox storefront.

This news comes courtesy of Nick’s Xbox Era podcast.

“What I have heard is that Microsoft is working to get Deadpool and Marvel Ultimate Alliance re-activated, relicensed or whatever to bring those two games back,” he said.

“Microsoft is trying to work through the process of getting those games relicensed.”

Although Nick is unsure of a time frame, it would make sense for Microsoft to work fast to take advantage of the current hype surrounding the Deadpool franchise.

Not only that but the Deadpool game, which was originally released in 2013, is seeing a massive sales increase on second-hand sites.

According to PriceCharting, an Xbox One port of the game was retailed at around $30 last November.

Now it has shot up to $96 for a complete in-box copy.

Let's just hope this rumour is true so we can get more of the smart-mouthed superhero before the next movie is inevitably released.
