Star Wars fans think a deceased Jar Jar Binks can be spotted in an episode of Andor S2, and are theorising how the comic-relief character finally met his end.
Personally, I never really had a problem with Jar Jar Binks; I thought his inclusion in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace brought some life to an otherwise dull story, as trade and senate discussion can only carry a film so far.
I can see why others might dislike him though, and it’s been really funny to see people speculate on whether he’s dead by the time of the original trilogy.

In the 10th episode of Andor S2, a scene plays out where Dedra visits Luthen’s shop of treasures and art pieces, which is obviously a cover story as he’s really a rebel spy.
During the scene, there are several Easter eggs and references to other parts of the Star Wars galaxy, including a skull of a Gungan, which many have humorously pointed out could be Jar Jar Binks.
“[Showrunner] Gilroy murdered Jar Jar - proving Andor is truly peak content,” read a Reddit thread about the mysterious skull.
Now, let’s be real, it probably isn’t Jar Jar. Gungans aren’t rare so it’s probably some other poor Naboo warrior that bit the dust at some point, but it’s funny to see how badly people want it to be Jar Jar.

Turns out the skull also has a reference to Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic on it, as the Star Forge symbol can be seen engraved into it. One fan pointed out as much saying, “I've been saying for years that Disney is eventually gonna go after the Revan bucks!”
Others pointed out how disgusting the anatomy of a Gungan is too, with one fan writing, “Okay, but...ear bones? Ear bones. Ugh.”
Jar Jar Binks is probably alive and well, but I love how most Star Wars fans saw a skull resembling him and decided it should canonically be him.
