Star Wars fans are horrified at the return of the polarising Jar Jar Binks in the popular free shooter Fortnite.
The ever-popular free-to-play shooter is no stranger to wacky cameos as playable characters with the likes of WWE’s The Undertaker, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and even football legend Lionel Messi all appearing in the Epic Games title.
What’s more, Star Wars has collaborated with Epic Games to appear in Fortnite perhaps more than most franchises with gamers coughing up the V-Bucks to purchase the latest skins.

Check out the Darth Jar Jar trailer below!
In the most recent season, Darth Vader is a companion AI that will join you for some Fortnite shenanigans. However, after gamers found a way to exploit Darth Vader to make him say profanities and racial slurs, Epic Games was forced to deploy a patch ASAP.
Thankfully, at least, the appearance of Jar Jar Binks in Fortnite has been a lot more wholesome, or has it? Because this version of the Gungan Star Wars character can be considered nightmare fuel for many.

Everyone, say hello to Darth Jar Jar!
“They Didn’t Take Him Seriously…and now he’s a Sith Lord,” read the description of Darth Jar Jar on Fortnite.com. “The galaxy’s most infamous Gungan has embraced the power of the dark side, and you’ll be able to add him to your Locker legion!”
“Trading his typical clumsy antics for a thirst for galactic domination, the Darth Jar Jar Outfit will spark terror (and honestly, a little bit of confusion) in Jedi sympathisers across the Island.”
“I hate everything,” exclaimed FrjalsiFenrir, replying to a tweet from the official Fortnite account.

“I feel like shooting Jar Jar repeatedly in Fortnite would feel very satisfying. Just me?” said the brutal PromptlyAI_YT.
That being said, as awesome (and disturbing) as this Jar Jar Binks skin is, many Fortnite fans in the comments are unhappy with Epic Games for making standard Jar Jar Binks and Darth Jar Jar two separate skins.
Fortnite is playable on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
