A new report has suggested when we might be saying goodbye to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU.
Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are set to dramatically shake up the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it sure sounds like it’s going to completely change the dynamics of every character.
We’re sure that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is included in this list, but we may now have just had confirmation as to when exactly the actor will be hanging up the suit and calling it a day. We’ll put a potential spoiler warning for future Spider-Man and MCU films here.
Speaking in a new Q&A, Marvel insider Alex Perez was asked how long they think Holland will continue playing the character for.

“I might see this as his last trilogy, to be honest,” Perez answered. So, it sounds like we have three more films with him, not counting any potential Avengers appearances.
Holland is currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, his fourth solo film as the titular character but his 8th overall appearance as the character if you also count crossover films and cameo appearances.
He’s also not confirmed to be in Avengers: Doomsday, but it’s entirely possible that he may be a secret cameo that hasn’t been teased yet. According to Perez, Peter Parker should be appearing in the film though.
“I could see them doing a casting update before the end of the year, but I really wouldn’t expect any big surprises outside maybe 1 or 2 I’ve heard being brought in for Avengers: Doomsday, since it’s mainly just heroes from Earth-616 that have already been rumored before, like Peter Parker, Stephen Strange, Clea, Monica Rambeau, Bruce Banner, Tatiana Maslany, Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, Cassie Lang, Love, Hope Van Dyne, Okoye, Team Loki, Deadpool, Wolverine, etc.”

As for Brand New Day, Perez said that the film would feature a montage of villains being fought in the opening similar to The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Perez also said that Sadie Sink’s character will be playing an ally to Peter, but not Spider-Man, and that the Venom symbiote may also play a role in the film.
Perez finishes the Q&A with a tease about how Brand New Day will continue on from No Way Home, where everyone on Earth forgot about Peter Parker.
“Everyone will care about Spider-Man. Barely anyone will care about Peter. Even Peter won’t care about himself. To quote Spider-Man 2: ‘He has nothing left, except Spider-Man.’”
