Marvel fans are thrilled with the first appearance of The Fantastic Four in the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts* which was the first in-universe glimpse of the team.
If you haven’t seen Marvel’s most recent film, this will be a little spoiler, but the post-credit scene showed a spaceship entering Earth’s atmosphere and the logo of The Fantastic Four adorned the side.
This appearance has fans excited for what’s to come at the end of the current MCU saga.
Over on Twitter, the scene is being discussed as “the only post-credits scene in this entire saga that’s actually relevant.”

While there’s some argument that other scenes will play a pivotal part of the saga’s end, for example, the appearance of X-Men’s Beast at the end of The Marvels, everyone can agree that the arrival of The Fantastic Four has them hyped up.
“I was so excited seeing this,” exclaimed one Marvel fan.
“The post-credits scene to rule them all,” commented one Twitter user.
Another user replied, “It really is crazy. It literally is the only post credit since Infinity Saga that has a purpose.”

However, it’s worth noting that so many of the post-credit scenes that have bookended recent films could link up in ways we haven’t thought of.
Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness ends with an incursion event, which ushers in Secret Wars; Black Widow set up Thunderbolts* which brings in the New Avengers team; and then we circle back to the X-Men appearance who we know will feature in Avengers: DOOMSDAY.
There’s a lot going on in this Marvel phase, and while it may not make sense now, it likely will when the dust settles.
Regardless of where this scene leads us, it’s an exciting time to be a Marvel fan going to the cinema, and we’re all expecting big things when Doctor Doom faces off against our favourite heroes.
