We’re finally close to getting the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s follow-up to Iron Man’s legacy, but fans are somewhat confused as to why Disney aren’t doing more to advertise the live-action series when it’s already so close to release.
Ironheart, the Disney+ series follow-up to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is set to drop on 24 June next month… so roughly six weeks time.
Although Disney have been slowly drip feeding us images and press releases, we have yet to see an official trailer for Riri Williams’ solo live-action series.

Disney even released a brand new promotional image for the series featuring Riri yesterday, but every single comment over on Screen Time’s Twitter post has the same question: Why are they holding back on showing us what this looks like in motion?
Thunderbolts* is out now, if you haven't already seen it.
On the plus side however, the comments do still seem quietly excited for it regardless.

“Well it looks less like a Power Rangers costume than it did in Black Panther 2,” commented user @Ankit6994576100.
“But yeah it's been what? Three to five years since we have seen this character. I hope it's good but still wonder if they needed a stand alone series for her story.”
“IDK [why] this show has taken four years to release but the way Daredevil is going, I'm pumped, this could be great,” replied user @Lilmaget.
I am kinda onboard with the comments here, because I am excited to see more of Dominique Thorne… but it is weird that Disney are holding back on releasing a trailer.

My only theory is that they want it to feel like its release is as close to a shadow-drop as the MCU is capable of, so they’re holding off on advertising it properly until mere days away from dropping.
Either way, I think I’ll give this one a go (even if I do feel a bit burnt out on Disney+ MCU shows at the moment). I wonder if we’ll get a Doom cameo?
