
The next Avengers film has begun filming in London, which means the stars of the film are now all in one place, making movie magic and hanging out off-camera.
The age of social media brings with it new ways to see teases for the upcoming Avengers: DOOMSDAY, like having the cast in one place, meeting up, and posing for photos.

Over on Instagram, Simu Liu, the MCU’s Shang-Chi, shared an image of him with other members of the Avengers: DOOMSDAY cast as they gathered together to watch the latest Marvel blockbuster, Thunderbolts*.

The photo brings some OG Avengers together, while also including some familiar faces from the wider MCU.
Posing with Liu are: Winston Duke (M'Baku), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man/Doctor Doom), Channing Tatum (Gambit), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Anthony Mackie (Captain America).
This isn’t the only photo opportunity for the cast, who are very much leaning into sharing the Avengers journey on Instagram.
Robert Downey JR. recently posted a photo of himself with some of the aforementioned stars, along with The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing) and Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman).

These images all come from the set of the new film, which began shooting on 28 April.
Of course, plot details are still under wraps, but the film is set to be the biggest in MCU history, bringing together over 25 previous Marvel stars in the cinema event.
It’ll be a while before we get to see Doctor Doom wrecking the timeline and bringing together the multiverse, as Avengers: DOOMSDAY is set for release on 1 May 2026.
