Marvel fans have been left astounded by a new leak for the next two Avengers films, teasing some wild developments.
Ask any MCU fan and they'll tell you that the last few years of the cinematic universe have been a mixed bag.
Thunderbolts* looks to be a solid film however, so we might be back.
With films like Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four: First Steps on the way, there are high hopes that the next phase of the MCU will give us that same feeling we had when we watched Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame for the first time. The feeling of a proper build-up with a satisfying pay-off.

Now a new leak from Marvel Comics writer Chris Claremont could point to just that, as at a panel he shared alleged details about who’ll appear in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars and what their role might be.
There’s a lot to unpack here, but the most exciting tidbit of information is that Robert Downey Jr will apparently play more than just Doctor Doom; he’ll play a variant of Iron Man too.
Chris Evans is also supposedly down to return, playing multiple characters as well as an evil version of Captain America, or a character like him anyway.
The X-Men will have an important role too, as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will return to kill off a major MCU character. Maybe that’s why Thor was crying in Deadpool And Wolverine…?

Obviously take this with a pinch of salt as it could all be nonsense, but with the multiverse in full swing, it’s safe to say anything could happen when the films drop in the coming years.
Claremont is a prominent writer within the X-Men space of Marvel Comics, so it's believed he was brought on to the film as a consultant.
Avengers: Doomsday is in production right now, with filming on the go and plenty of behind-the-scenes images surfacing online of returning characters and mystery actors.
