The Fantastic Four have landed, or taken off, whichever you prefer. Anyway, the first trailer for Fantastic Four: The First Steps is here, and it could be a contender for the best MCU film so far.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios released a brief teaser for the trailer, showing people gathering round TVs to see our heroes venture off into space, where they’ll presumably get their powers like in the comics.

The wait is now over though, and you can see the full trailer below.

In the Fantastic Four: The First Steps trailer we see Marvel’s first family well into their lives as superheroes, with a little bit of origin sprinkled in for good measure.

We see them going about their daily lives as well as preparing to face a threat from another world, Galactus, it’s all really exciting.

The costumes are on point, The Thing looks great, and the visuals are looking, well, fantastic. The most important part though is the team already feels like a family, which is great to see. It seems like Marvel Studios has really cooked with this one.

All in all, a successful launch, and one that’s got so many MCU fans excited for what’s to come in the future.

Can I just say as well that the build up to this trailer was remarkably well-done, with the countdown being a video of a rocket parked up and preparing for take-off, beautiful work.

The Fantastic Four will likely play an important role in the Multiverse Saga after their debut film, as it’s rumoured by the end-credits, they’ll have been transported into the MCU universe we’re most familiar with.

There, they’ll likely be part of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, and hopefully, we get plenty of interaction between the team and Doctor Doom, who’ll be played by Robert Downey Jr.

Fantastic Four: The First Steps lands in cinemas later this year on 25 July, and it’s going to be a wild ride.
