X-Men’s Kelsey Grammer has seemingly just spilled some details about Avengers: Doomsday that he may have not been allowed to.
We’re just over a year away from watching Avengers: Doomsday, and while filming hasn’t quite been completed yet, it sounds like a lot of footage has already been shot, with a large amount also expected to be filmed next year.
With many details kept under wraps and plenty of NDAs signed, it seems that one star didn’t get the memo. X-Men’s Kelsey Grammer, who is reprising his role as Beast in Avengers: Doomsday, has seemingly revealed details about the upcoming superhero flick.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Grammer said that it was “fun to interact with people I hadn’t interacted with before”.

He then revealed that his character interacts with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic, though it’s unclear if all three are present in the same scene.
Instead of realising that he might be letting on more than he’s allowed to, he then doubled down by saying that he “sort of” shares a scene with Robert Downey Jr. 's Doctor Doom, the main villain of Avengers: Doomsday.
X-Men Versus The Avengers Is Being Teased
Grammer last appeared in a Marvel film as Beast in 2023’s The Marvels, showing up in a post-credit scene that showed Monica Rambeau having apparently crossed over into the Fox X-Men universe.

Previously, he appeared as the character in X-Men: The Last Stand. A younger version of Beast appears in the prequel films, where he’s played by Nicholas Hoult.
However, from the sounds of it, it looks like the X-Men may be getting set up here to be in some kind of confrontation against the Avengers. Possibly as a precursor to the various teams grouping up to defeat Doctor Doom.
In addition to both of those factions, characters from Wakanda, the Fantastic Four, and the New Avengers are also featured in the film, resulting in a rather stacked cast.

In the meantime, we’ve got several other MCU projects coming beforehand. The next film will be Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which releases in cinemas on 31 July, 2026.
Meanwhile, several other television series are expected to air in the interim between the film releases, including Wonder Man, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, VisionQuest, and Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man Season 2. You’ll be able to watch them on Disney Plus.
Avengers: Doomsday will release in cinemas on 18 December, 2026.
