Marvel has updated its pipeline for 2026 with four new project updates, and the year is already looking stacked.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has quite a few exciting films on the horizon for next year. Following on from the rather safe-but-still-enjoyable The Fantastic Four: First Steps, next year brings us a new Spider-Man film and the first of a new two-part Avengers saga.

While we wait for Spider-Man: Brand New Day though, Marvel has issued updates on several other projects slated for release in 2026. And it seems that all of these will be debuting on Disney Plus.

This was revealed at New York Comic Con, where Marvel and Disney issued updates for several shows in development for the MCU (thanks, Comic Book).

To start with, the live-action series Wonder Man has been delayed from this year to January 2026. It was originally expected to release before the end of the year, but has now been delayed to presumably help space out some of Marvel’s television releases over the next year.

Meanwhile, the second season of the animated show Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be debuting in Fall 2026, following the release of Brand New Day but preceding Avengers: Doomsday.

The first season came to Disney Plus in January this year, so that’s quite a nice turnaround for a show that presumably takes a while to animate. It’s also been revealed that the second season will feature the return of Daredevil.

Similarly, the second season of X-Men ‘97 has been confirmed for a Summer 2026 return, as well as additional confirmation of a third season being in development.

With the X-Men slowly become more intertwined with the MCU, I’d imagine we’ll start to see more references to the main universe in this season.

Finally, Marvel has also revealed that VisionQuest, which features Paul Bettany returning as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, will be released on Disney Plus in 2026. It’ll likely be the streamer’s biggest live-action MCU project for that year, given how successful WandaVision was for the platform back in 2021.

These four projects also join the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, which has been highly-anticipated following the release of the first season earlier this year.

A special presentation for Punisher will also air during this time, featuring the return of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle following his appearance in Daredevil: Born Again. It’ll likely bridge the gap between his TV appearances and his upcoming role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
