There is no denying that The Witcher 3 has all manner of exciting Easter eggs and secrets that are still being discovered almost a decade later.
From a dark secret hidden within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s opening area to a hidden boss fight even the developers didn’t expect players to find, it is clear that CD Projekt Red was not joking around when it comes to the game’s longevity.
Check out the trailer for the next-gen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt below!
As with any open-world RPG, especially one on Wild Hunt’s scale, it is perhaps no surprise that players are still discovering things to this day.

Even if it is an Easter egg that directly references a much-loved television show.
Fans of Game of Thrones will know of Tyrion Lannister and his exploits, especially those that took place in the Eyrie’s Sky Cells.
For those unfamiliar with the show, the Sky Cells were, as you can probably guess, prison cells but instead of four walls, they had just three.
Where the final wall should be is instead a whole lot of air and the drop is not one that could be survived.

However, one player got more than they bargained for when they discovered the location as they also stumbled across the body of a familiar face.
That’s right, Tyrion Lannister himself can be found in a Sky Cell in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
One user in question took to r/Witcher3 with their discovery.
“Did I just find Tyrion f**king Lannister?!” They asked.

However, it seems that not everybody came across the well-known character during their playthrough.
“A rare one that I missed. The game is so massive, it never fails to impress me!” One comment read.
Another said: “I fu**ing love all the little references this game has!
I was playing today and found a book that had a little "story" and it was a direct reference to Twilight. I read it and laughed my ass off.”
