The Sims is back in the limelight recently after EA surprised fans with re-releases of The Sims and The Sims 2 earlier this month.

As a result, millions of the franchise’s earlier fans have returned to the life simulation titles so it is no wonder that EA wants to cash in on this surge by working on the most recent entry, The Sims 4.

First released back in 2014, it has officially been a decade since Simmers all over the world dove into the latest iteration in the series.

With 17 expansion packs and 12 game packs, The Sims 4 has its fair share of extra content and it’s about to get one more.

The Sims 4 - Business and Hobbies is an upcoming expansion which will allow players to create their very own businesses throughout the game world.

As well as deciding who will work at your business, you will also be able to decide how you want to run them.

Will you keep everything above-board or will you pull a few strings in order to scam your customers? Be aware though, scamming fellow Sims could have negative consequences on your life outside work.

Another cool feature of Businesses and Hobbies is that this expansion pack will be able to work alongside others in order to give you access to more businesses.

For example, owning the Cats and Dogs expansion will allow you to open up your own pet café.

As for the other businesses available, you will be able to own dance clubs and arcades, karaoke bars, an acting school, launderette, bowling alley, and spa.

As with any major The Sims 4 expansion, Businesses and Hobbies will come alongside the brand-new world of Nordhaven and last but not least, preordering before 18 April will bag you some extra goodies.

This includes the Practice Makes Perfect Priscilla Statue, Sweetest Treat Display Case, and Beautiful Flaws Lamp.

The Sims 4 - Businesses and Hobbies will release on 6 March.
