We're all used to that zany fine print on packaging. The packet of peanuts which says "May contain nuts", clothing that says "Do not iron while wearing", or chainsaws brandishing signs like "Do not hold on to the chain while in use". Knowing that this is simply to cover any potential legal trouble the company may get into, we have all got used to it. However, we don't need little reminders of such basic information, do we?
In steps Nintendo's Japanese customer support Twitter account to save the day. The account mostly tweets out useful information such as where to find FAQs, what kind of extra storage you can buy, or what new Switch games are coming out. However, on occasion it gives out some unfathomably beautiful pearls of wisdom that even children would be aware of. It wouldn't help most children however, as it's written in kanji they can't read, and it's on Twitter which they shouldn't be on.
If you're a fan on Nintendo's portable console, you can check out the reveal trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports below.
As translated by GAMINGbible, it holds advice like "If you drop your Nintendo Switch on the floor or other hard surface, even if the screen doesn't break, the buttons or sticks unfortunately might not work. Please don't drop it, or hit it against hard objects."
Or what about "The water in your bottle that leaks from a loosened cap, the juice from a cup that spills on the table, in life there are many situations which can break your Nintendo Switch. You should also avoid placing your Switch in areas of high humidity, such as next to the humidifier."
Or a personal favourite "When you're not looking, your Nintendo Switch becomes your pet's plaything! By the time you notice it's already covered in slobber. Pet salvia and urine can get your system wet causing it to malfunction. If you have a pet, please be careful where you leave your Switch."
Thank you Nintendo Customer Support sama. What would we do without you?
