I don’t know what The Boys crew has in store for us in season four, but the more I hear, the more terrified (and admittedly, morbidly curious) I become.

Seriously, if you thought that the previous seasons were spicy, it sounds like the upcoming batch of episodes are going to take things to the next level. Last month, it was teased that The Boys season four will include “the craziest sh*t we can legally put on your tubes”. It’s worth keeping in mind that associate producer and VFX supervisor Stephan Fleet previously tweeted: “I think I just saw the most disgusting thing I have seen working in this business thus far.” Yes, that means that it’s worse than the season three Termite scene. You know the one.

Take a look at this incredible GTA V mod starring Homelander below.

Now, in an interview with Variety, Antony Starr, AKA Homelander, has teased another moment in the show which will apparently feature him in a seriously weird scene.

“There has to be a ceiling, but we can’t seem to find it,” he said of the show’s zaniness. He continued, making reference to a specific scene which he wasn’t allowed to spoil: “I was looking at the person I was opposite, and I said, ‘What are we doing? I can’t believe this! I could have done anything else with my life, but here I am doing this?’ It was truly the most bizarre thing I’ve ever done.”

Unfortunately, due to Starr remaining tight-lipped, we have no idea what he was referring to, or whether this could be the same “disgusting thing” that Fleet tweeted about before. The Boys’ fourth season doesn’t have a release date yet, either, but now that it’s finished filming, hopefully it won’t be too long until we see a trailer.
