The Boys season 4 teases ‘the craziest sh*t that's legally allowed’ on TV

The Boys season four has wrapped filming, and fans can get ready for some seriously wild episodes.

Brace yourselves - the fourth season of The Boys has finished filming, and it sounds like it’s going to be the most chaotic (and potentially most disgusting) batch of episodes yet.

As UNILAD reports, the news was announced by the official The Boys account on Twitter. It wrote: “Just wrapped filmin' the craziest sh*t we can legally put on your tubes. Turns out all of these photos tell ya a ton about Season Four…”

Before we get into it, take a look at this incredible GTA V mod starring Homelander below.

Don’t get too excited, though, the rest of the Twitter thread doesn’t actually reveal too much. However, we do see A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) and Homelander (Antony Starr) all covered in fake blood, so it looks like we can expect a lot of that.

Eric Kripke, the showrunner for The Boys, tweeted: “2am. We're exhausted. Bloody. But triumphant. My heart is full of love and gratitude to this all-time-great cast and crew. THAT'S A WRAP ON SEASON FOUR, MOTHERF***ERS.”

The Boys crew has been teasing season four’s wild content for some time now - earlier this year, associate producer and VFX supervisor Stephan Fleet tweeted: “I think I just saw the most disgusting thing I have seen working in this business thus far.” He also previously posted: “My eyes can't unsee what I just saw right now.” Considering that season three contained the infamous Termite penis explosion scene, I can’t even imagine what we have in store for us when the new episodes release.

At the time of writing, it’s not been confirmed when The Boys’ fourth season will come out - hopefully, now that it’s finished filming, it won’t be too long until we get a trailer. Kripke’s Twitter bio reads: “Look, we’re editing Season Four as fast as we can, lay off, jeez.”
