It was only a few short weeks ago that season three of The Boys drew to a close but updates on the upcoming fourth season are already rolling in thick and fast. The Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is set to join the cast, and Karl Urban has already provided a look at Butcher and Homelander back in action. One fallen character is rumoured to be making a return and to add to all this chaos, it looks like season four will contain a truly horrific scene. Classic The Boys then.

Check out this incredible GTA V mod where you can play as Homelander.

Stephan Fleet is The Boys’ overall VFX supervisor and has provided plenty of behind the scenes tidbits for fans whilst working on the show. Well, now that filming on season four is underway, Fleet has taken to Twitter to announce, “My eyes can’t unsee what I just saw right now.” Oh god. I dread to think what The Boys is cooking up.

Season three was full of disturbing scenes, many of which I’m sure you’ve tried to erase from your mind. Here, let me bring them back to the forefront. There was the superhero orgy - which was actually inspired by an octopus documentary - plus that time Termite shrunk down, entered his partner’s penis, sneezed, and accidently made it explode. Ouch.

My eyes can't unsee what I just saw right now.

Fans replied to Fleet in search of answers. Cfcliquidator_ wrote, “Surely it can’t be anything worse than this,” posting behind the scenes images from the Termite scene. HectorS83 added, “My gutter mind trying to think of what could possibly top that scene from last season. Homelander milking something? The Deep checking out a whale blowhole?” Disturbing thoughts but honestly, neither of those things would surprise me.
