A new Stardew Valley mod has given us the ability to stop time, giving you enough space to finish your entire to do list.
As any determined Stardew Valley player knows, your To Do list is always much longer than your attention span.
I can’t say I’ve ever actually managed to 100% a playthrough, and that’s less to do with giving up and more to do with there being far too many tasks to complete.
Still, I think we’d all agree that these tasks would be a lot more manageable if we had more time in the day to finish them, and that’s where this new mod comes in handy.
The Timeless Pocket Watch Is A Lore-Friendly Way To Break Stardew Valley
The Timeless Pocket Watch by Stardew Valley modder PeacefulEnd gives you the ability to stop time using a stopwatch, similar to that one episode of The Twilight Zone where that happened (or The Simpsons, if you’re on the younger side).

Once you have the mod installed, you’ll find a pocket watch artifact from one of the artifact spots in the Mountain or the Mines. After turning it in to Gunther, you’ll get the Timeless Pocket Watch along with some recipes.
With the pocket watch, you can pause time for a short duration, with stronger versions of the item being able to pause time for longer.

For example, using Golden Clockwork Gear pauses time for seven seconds, while using Iridium Clockwork Gear increases that to 28 seconds.
Radioactive Clockwork Gear pauses time for 42 seconds, so it can be pretty valuable if you stack up the effects.
Also, unlocking the Timeless Pocket Watch tool grants you recipes to create additional copies of the pocket watch.
While it may not be an infinite way to pause time (although there are mods to do that anyway), this mod is more of a fun way of adding a lore-friendly function to lengthen out the days a little bit.
You can download The Timeless Pocket Watch mod for the PC version of Stardew Valley now by grabbing it from Nexus Mods.
Meanwhile, Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe recently released a 10th anniversary special video for fans of the game to enjoy.
In addition to showing off early versions of the game prior to its 2016 release, ConcernedApe also revealed the two new marriage candidates who would be added in Stardew Valley’s upcoming 1.7 update.
