Star Wars fans have been very well fed for the last week or so, to say the least. At the end of last month, Star Wars Celebration kicked off in Anaheim, California, and with it came a whole host of announcements and updates about everything from the upcoming Disney+ series Andor, to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and even a comic series about Yoda.
Thanks to that, people have definitely been feeling the Star Wars hype in general, and a video of the Rise of the Resistance ride in Disneyland California has been blowing up online, with fans gushing over the experience’s incredible attention to detail.
Take a look at the clip in question right here, and feast your eyes upon the Star Wars goodness.
It’s not exactly a new ride - it first opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida in December 2019, before shortly opening in Disneyland California in January 2020. However, with it being super popular, it’s notoriously difficult to actually experience for yourself - at least everyone can live vicariously through the video, instead.

GAMINGbible’s very own Mark Foster was one of the people lucky enough to get on the ride in person (if you listen very closely to the video, you can hear his dreams coming true), and he had nothing but good things to say about it: “Undoubtedly the best ride I’ve ever been on,” he said. “It’s not a ride or rollercoaster in the traditional sense, in that it mixes augmented reality, animatronics, actors, epic sets and environmental things like wind, as well as the usual thrills and spills of a rollercoaster together to create a unique kind of experience. I can’t wait to go on it again.”
As brilliant as the whole thing already looks, rest assured that there’s even more to it that you don’t see in the video - without getting into spoilers (can you really have spoilers for a theme park ride?), there’s loads of cool buildup even in the queue. You definitely won’t want to miss out on this one if you have the chance to try it for yourself.
