Star Wars Outlaws has received a huge update to go alongside its new DLC expansion, but it could be one of the last.

It’s had a reasonable number of updates since it launched last year, but it’s pretty clear it’s now coming to the end which could mean a sequel is on the way.

Check out Star Wars Outlaws below.

Right now though, you can dive into the Star Wars Outlaws latest expansion, A Pirate’s Fortune, which you’ll either need to buy separately or redeem it through the Season Pass if you have that.

Alongside it is a free patch that brings some much-needed changes to the game as well as some free cosmetics based on some recent Star Wars shows.

For gameplay, Kay Vess can now fire her blaster while riding a speeder, as previously you’d have to use an ability to shoot anything while moving.

You can also switch between her blaster and any two-handed weapons you’ve picked up along the way, as well as customise the Trailblazer with new abilities to make space missions easier. New missions and challenges for the Trailblazer have also been added.

That’s not all though as free cosmetics have also been added based on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which you can watch on Disney+ if you haven’t already. The cosmetics are for Nix and the speeder.

A variety of other patches and tweaks have been introduced too, which offer a smoother gameplay experience.

Some good stuff has been added with this update, but there still isn’t a New Game+ which feels like a bit of a misstep.

Perhaps Ubisoft isn’t done with the game though, and more content updates are planned for the future before we get the potential sequel.

Star Wars Outlaws and its DLC expansions are available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms, and will soon be out for the Nintendo Switch 2 as well.
