Be honest, did you fancy the droid?

Star Wars Outlaws stars Humberly González and Jay Rincon are ready to reprise their roles for future appearances.

Humberly González and Jay Rincon played Kay Vess and ND-5 respectively in Star Wars Outlaws, and personally, I think they're fantastic additions to the galaxy far, far away.

With the pair still out there in the galaxy, they're bound to return one day, and we caught up with the actors during last week's BAFTA Games Awards to talk about how it could happen.

When asked how they'd feel about returning to Kay and ND-5, whether it be through a new game or maybe even a live-action project, the pair were more than happy to oblige.

“I don't think their stories are quite over yet,” Humberly teased to us. When asked if there were any iconic Star Wars characters they’d like to share a screen with, regardless of timelines, Jay said, “Mine was R2 last time, I think I’ll stick to it,” whereas Humberly answered, “Princess Leia! Or Rey, we’d be badass together.”

The question was also raised by us if the pair were expecting the … passionate ... fan reaction to ND-5 as fair to say, there's been a lot of thirst for the droid.

“No, we never once talked about it, it never came up,” began Jay, “so I guess it's a happy accident.” He went on to add, “It was a complete shock and surprise.”

Humberly told us, “I literally screenshotted them and sent them to Jay like, ‘Have you seen this?’, I mean, hey, there's so much talent out there. Whatever people draw from the characters, it obviously inspires other forms of art, so I'm proud of that.”

Hopefully, Kay Vess and ND-5 return sooner rather than later; a Disney+ series of the pair bounty hunting across the galaxy would be a pretty cool addition to the canon.
