A new game blending the best of Resident Evil and BioShock has just received a new gameplay video, and it looks great.

Although it doesn’t seem like it, there are actually quite a few similarities between BioShock and Resident Evil—they both have creepy atmospheres, tough boss fights, and anti-capitalist narratives.

They’ve also gone on to inspire a countless number of developers to create games with similar themes, mechanics, and vibes. And the new RPG Industria 2 seems to be doing exactly that.

Developed by Bleakmill, Industria 2 is the sequel to 2021’s excellent FPS Industria, and aims to capture the same level of intensity that game had. However, it also looks like the game will be going in more of a survival horror direction too, based off this footage.

Two minutes of narrated footage has been uploaded online by Bleakmill, detailing some of the new environments and systems that Industria 2 will have.

We get a glimpse of new enemies, the inventory screen, and an Alien Isolation-style motion sensor that should come in handy during stealth segments.

Bleakmill also shows off a little combat, which seems a lot more refined and polished compared to its predecessor. Check out the video for yourself below.

All-in-all, it looks like a worthy sequel to Industria that fans should be hyped about playing when it launches.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, Bleakmill promises that Industria 2 will have physics-based interactions, in-depth crafting, and a realistic inventory management system.

As for the story, it’s a fully story-driven game with about 4-6 hours of gameplay. So don’t expect it to be really long, but it should go on long enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.

As for when Industria 2 will be out, it doesn’t have a release date attached to it yet. However, there will be a playable demo available at Gamescom, so it might be worth swinging by if you’re attending the show.
