An upcoming FPS game which looks like a perfect mix of Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield has a free demo that you can play now.
A.A.U. Black Site is an upcoming FPS which combines the neon-stricken urban environments of Cyberpunk 2077 with the high-octane gunplay of Battlefield and Call of Duty.
I’d also shout out the F.E.A.R. series as a possible point of inspiration for the game, as the game seems to be combining action gameplay with horror environments and themes.
It’s a bodycam shooter where you play as a special forces operative stranded in hostile territory, where supernatural entities and other humans threaten your survival.
A.A.U. Black Site Is An Old School FPS Which Appeals To Fans Of 2000s Shooters
The game begins with a covert mission inside Serbia, which eventually turns into a desperate quest for survival once you get framed and isolated behind enemy lines.

Using your survival and combat skills, you will need to use every tool at your disposal to get out alive.
A.A.U. Black Site features over 20 weapons for you to use, including assault rifles, handguns, and submachine guns. For those who did play F.E.A.R. back in the day, it looks like it’s shaping up to be an excellent spiritual successor.

If you fancy checking it out then, you’re in luck. A free demo for A.A.U. Black Site is available to play now on Steam.
As the game currently has 50,000 wishlists on the platform, it’s expected that developer Raspberry Studio will be able to gather a lot of feedback from this demo.
This demo is actually the second iteration of its kind, offering a look at the second chapter of the game compared to the first demo which presented the first.

The second demo features “new areas, new dangers and even less room for mistakes,” and teases “a more heavy approach for combat, something that the majority of our players have been looking forward to based on the previous demo's feedback”.
Altogether, A.A.U. Black Site is shaping up to be an interesting game, and it’s something I’ll continue keeping my eye on as we get closer to launch.
It doesn’t have a release date yet, but Raspberry has stated that the game is expected to launch in 2026. So, I guess we'll hear more about it in the near future.
