The Red Dead Redemption series is one of Rockstar Games’ crown jewels and fans are always looking for new ways to be immersed in its take on the wild west.

One way that feels can become even more immersed in the world of Red Dead Redemption is by bringing its concept to life, quite literally. Tombstone Redemption 2023 is a non-profit event that was held Tombstone, Arizona in the United States, in which the love of the wild west very much remains alive. Well, other than outlaws with heavy bounties on their heads or at least we hope.

Check out the Red Dead Redemption (2010) trailer below!

As reported by TucsonWeekly, an event created and produced by Kenney Palkow, Tombstone Redemption is a dream brought to life, an event in which fans from all corners of the globe can get together and celebrate everything related to the Rockstar Games series to meet some of the actors from the franchise and much more.

The event which had taken place between 29 July to 30 July 2023, transformed the location of Tombstone into the fictional town of Blackwater, an infamous location that is heavily featured in the series.

Those that attended the event were able to meet the likes of Rob Wiethoff (John Marston), Benjamin Bryon Davis (Dutch van der Linde), Alex McKennea (Sadie Adler) and Peter Blomquist (Micah Bell). Sadly, Roger Clark who plays Arthur Morgan in RDR2 was originally scheduled to attend, but his appearance was been cancelled.

“Tombstone Redemption 2023 was amazing. Wow! Thank you to all of the cast,” tweeted Rad Dad Redemption.

Obviously, it’s been a week removed since Tombstone Redemption 2023, but with it proving to be such a hit with fans, hopefully, it will make a triumphant return in 2024 and beyond.

In related news, reports of an incoming Red Dead Redemption remake have been running rampant across the internet in recent weeks and some believe that its announcement is around the corner.

The most recent entry in the series (at the time of writing), Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
