The one thing that any Red Dead Redemption 2 fans will tell anyone that listens is about just how detailed their game is compared to basically anything else we've seen up to this point, which in all fairness, they are right about.
Whether it's the horse balls shrinking in the cold or liquid levels only going down to below the bullet hole if you shoot a container, RDR2 is filled with little tidbits that really do make the world feel alive.
Outside of those, there are also plenty more general Easter eggs and secret characters that players may or may not come across on their adventures, so much so that people are still discovering them all these years later.

Player Discovers Meditating Monk in Grizzlies East
Over on Reddit, one player shared the startling revelation that they had managed to track down the Meditating Monk, perched on a clifftop just Southwest of the R in Grizzlies East on the map.

When first found, he seems to be meditating and you are unable to directly interact with him as the player, though if you pull out your gun, shoot or hit him, or even kill him (you monster), then you will be punished with a loss of honour.
The responses were a notable mixture of those who were shocked at the discovery, and those who had some additional information to share about what can be done with the character.
"I’m well deep into the epilogue and have yet to stumble across him. Gonna have to hunt him down! (Peacefully)," one said.
"I’m pretty sure you can find him as Arthur so that the drawing is actually good and not just a bunch of sticks," said another, referencing the sketches of points of interest, which the monk counts as here (despite being a person).
If you do decide to go looking for him yourself, you'll notice that the area around the character is marked as a restricted area on the map, so you're character will get the "Wanted Dead or Alive" label.
Don't worry too much, as this is a leftover from development, when Fort Wallace was placed at that location.
We've just breezed past the seventh anniversary of Red Dead Redemption 2's release, so it's a testament to the remarkable quality and detail of the game that fans continue to blow each other away with all of the secrets they manage to discover.
