Despite being out in the world for five years, one player has found another secret hiding within Red Dead Redemption 2 which loot goblins will want to try themselves.

Despite the game hurtling towards its fifth anniversary, Red Dead Redemption 2 is loved just as much today as it was then. With an emotional storyline, endless amounts of side quests and mission as well as the ability to hunt, fish and collect, it’s no wonder the Red Dead Redemption sequel is still voted one of the best video game experiences of all time.

Another thing you can do in the game is sell all your unwanted items, or more specifically, your stolen and ill-gotten goods.

Check out some Red Dead Redemption 2 funny fails and wins below!

To do this, you can visit one of four Fences to unload your loot as well as the chance to purchase some more unique items. However, one player has found a way to access these unique items without spending a penny. Spoiler alert, it involves some death.

Player7 on Youtube posted a video on showing how players can obtain the jail key, harmonica and other items from the Fence in Rhodes. In the video, we see him head to the Fence NPC who they instruct we must kill using a knife. I’m not sure why it must be a knife, maybe because it’s silent but either way, take the guy out. Once you have done that, Player7 instructs viewers to aim a dynamite arrow at the ground in front of the Fence window and then finally, climb in over the dead body. Once inside, you will have access to all the unique items as well as a few extras. To leave, simply fast forward time until morning.

This will of course mean you no longer have access to this Fence but with three others littered around the map, it’s no major loss. The discovery is not the first (or last) time a secret will be uncovered in Red Dead Redemption 2. Besides, even if we do eventually run out of things to find, we could always set up our own gun store.
