PlayStation Stars is now officially available worldwide after rolling out in Europe, Australia and New Zealand this week. In case you missed it, PlayStation’s new loyalty system allows users to earn PSN wallet funds, select PlayStation Store rewards, and digital collectibles. All you need to do is complete simple tasks (some are as easy as opening a game), or you can earn around four percent of purchase spends back as points on the PS Store.
There are four loyalty levels but dataminers have already discovered a secret fifth invite-only tier. It’s also been unveiled that the more loyal you are, the better customer service you’ll receive which has understandably ruffled a few feathers. Thanks to a crafty new hack, it’s now been uncovered that some PlayStation Plus subscribers could actually make earning points a lot easier.
God of War Ragnarök looms on the PlayStation horizon. Check out the latest trailer ahead of the game’s release on 9 November.
As pointed out by Push Square, those who are subscribed to PlayStation Plus’ premium tier can actually use a time saving hack to earn even more loyalty points. Some of the scheme’s campaigns require you to open up certain games. For example, the current ‘Hit Play/1994’ campaign entails opening up specific titles like Heavy Rain or Until Dawn.

If you already have these installed on your PlayStation then that’s great but chances are, I’d imagine the vast majority of us don’t. No one has time to download entire games for the sake of a few points but don’t forget that PS Plus Premium subscribers can stream games in the PS Plus catalogue - including titles like Heavy Rain and Until Dawn.
Simply locate the game in the PS Plus catalogue, select the expanded info button, and then press the stream option. The game will quickly connect via stream and as soon as it opens, you’ll earn points without downloading the title. Think smarter, not harder.
