It doesn't matter which of the three PS Plus tiers that you subscribe to, we all have access to online multiplayer and a selection of free games. Though the selection of free games does vary depending on the tier. However, all subscribers get treated to exclusive discounts as well as some bonus DLC.

This month, as reported by Comicbook.com, PlayStation Plus subscribers were treated to last-minute DLC for the free-to-play action MMORPG, Genshin Impact. Released in 2020 for PC, PlayStation and mobile, Genshin Impact is one of the most popular games of its genre.

In an article from CharlieIntel in April 2023, Genshin Impact averaged around 65 million players each month from November 2022 to March 2023. It was also reported that from March 2023 to April 2023, the concurrent player number was 4.4 million and its all-time high is a whopping 8.6 million recorded in November 2022.

So, what’s included in the free DLC available to PlayStation Plus subscribers? The free items will give players extra resources to level up their avatars and weapons. This will no doubt come in handy for players that might be indulging in Genshin Impact for the very first time. It’s also a nice free bonus for veteran players too.

The PS Plus Genshin Impact DLC includes the following in-game rewards:

  • Hero's Wit ×20
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore ×15
  • Mora ×50,000
  • Fragile Resin ×2

Being as popular as it is, Genshin Impact is also no stranger to collaborations with Sony. In July 2021, the free-to-play MMORPG had an epic crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn. Obviously, it’s been a while since that time, so can he have a Forbidden West event already, please? That being said, we think a crossover with the forgotten PlayStation classic, Gravity would be a great fit for the world of Teyvat.
