The latest PlayStation Plus offerings are now confirmed for January 2026 and there are plenty of games to like, even if it doesn't serve as one of the best months we've seen in recent times.
A big portion of the player base are excited about the addition of Darkest Dungeon II, the roguelike game where you go on a road trip from hell in order to stop the apocalypse from taking place, so a pretty worthy cause all around.
At the same time, the impressive horror movie tie-in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead remains a solid entry in the survival horror genre, while Resident Evil: Village completes what will be a very exciting period for fans of being scared.
Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, A Little to the Left, The Exit 8 and Art of Rally all also appear, but there’s one other game that brings a ton of value to the PS Plus selection, if only based on how long it takes to get everything done.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Makes PS Plus Debut

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a spin-off from the similarly titled Yakuza: Like A Dragon, with excellent protagonist Ichiban Kasuga returning as one of the game’s two main characters.
In the developer’s own words, “Two larger-than-life heroes, Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu are brought together by the hand of fate, or perhaps something more sinister… Live it up in Japan and explore all that Hawaii has to offer in an RPG adventure so big it spans the Pacific.”
Having completed the main story myself, it’s a solid recommendation, even if it doesn’t quite get to the heady heights of the original Like A Dragon.
If you've ever played any of the mainline Yakuza games, then you'll know roughly what to expect from the story which is zany and exciting, lending itself brilliantly to the game’s chosen genre, in an RPG experience that you likely won't have felt before.

Japan remains as stunning a setting as ever, though being able to head over to the tropical climes of Hawaii is a welcome change, and one which elevates the game above many of its immediate peers.
It's also massive and a full completionist run should take you around 117 hours according to howlongtobeat.com, so you can’t say you aren’t getting great value when you can download it at no additional cost.
The monthly selection is available to download now, so what are you waiting for?
