PlayStation Plus has dropped a Game of the Year RPG on the service that will keep you busy for well over 100 hours, and then some.
The latest batch of PlayStation Plus games has dropped, and today, we get to play two very different RPGs, but no less critically acclaimed. The first RPG available for subscribers today is the indie sensation Vampire Survivors; the other is a major AAA release from 2005.
The AAA RPG in question that can easily provide over 100 hours of fun is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver. It was announced for PS Plus alongside nine other additions.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has won several notable Game of the Year awards, including from PC Gamer, the Ultra Game Awards, as well as ‘Best Narrative” from BAFTA.
What’s the story of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II?
“A thrilling story-driven action RPG, with a rich open world, set in 15th-century Medieval Europe. Experience the ultimate medieval adventure - through the eyes of young Henry - as you embark on a journey of epic proportions,” reads the synopsis of the game.

How well has Kingdom Come: Deliverance II been received?
On Metacritic, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has scored a very aligned 89 from critics and 8.7 from users. On Steam, it earned a “Very Positive” rating based on nearly 67,000 user reviews.
“Got jumped by three barefoot peasants with sticks. 10/10,” wrote Steam user Pouya2010.
“It's one of the hardest RPGs I've ever played because I started it on ‘Hardcore’, with all 10 negative perks from the beginning. But unlike the hardest game, it's also the most satisfying RPG game to play for me.”
“Henry has been waiting for a chance to reclaim some of what was lost during his first adventure. He’s older and a little bit wiser, though still hot-headed when he wants to be,” reads our review, scoring it an “Excellent” 8/10.
“His is a tale meant to be expanded upon as you take control of his actions. Embrace being the narrator of his story; don’t shy away from it. Henry of Skalitz is yours to command; do him justice and give him an adventure filled with the complexities befitting this honest, hardworking man.”
How long will Kingdom Come: Deliverance II be on PlayStation Plus?
At this time, no one other than Sony, the developers and/or the publisher will know for sure. Judging by most third-party AAA games, we can hopefully expect Kingdom Come: Deliverance II to remain on PS Plus Extra and Premium for around six to 12 months.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is also available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
