It’s already that time of the month again. It feels like mere days ago I was unveiling January’s PlayStation Plus extra and premium tier additions and here we are in February. I can tease that this month’s line-up is very, very good.

In case you missed it, the essential tier line-up for this month is already available to download. Subscribers can currently get their hands on OlliOlli World, Evil Dead: The Game, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. Mafia seems to be the standout pick of the month with some fans declaring it to be the “best remake” of all time. Let’s move on though shall we to this month’s PS Plus extra and premium news - and the star of the show is Horizon Forbidden West.

Horizon Forbidden West is a stunning game. Don’t believe me? Take a look below.

This morning, reliable leaker billbil-kin claimed that Horizon Forbidden West, Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, and Borderlands 3 would all be included in this month’s line-up and he was right. Those games are joined by a further 17 titles making this quite the successful month indeed.

The full line-up is as follows: Horizon Forbidden West (PS4/PS5), The Quarry (PS4/PS5), Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (PS4), Outriders (PS4/PS5), Scarlet Nexus (PS4/PS5), Borderlands 3 (PS4/PS5), The Forgotten City (PS4/PS5), Tekken 7 (PS4), Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4), Earth Defense Force 5 (PS4), Oninaki (PS4), Lost Sphear (PS4), I Am Setsuna (PS4), The Legend of Dragoon - PS1 (PS4/PS5), Harvest Moon: Back To Nature - PS1 (PS4/PS5), Wild Arms 2 - PS1 (PS4/PS5), and Destroy All Humans! (2020) (PS4).

If you ask me, Horizon Forbidden West features 2022’s very best open world. In fact, fans are upset that the stunning game doesn’t get the hype it deserves. If it’s on your to-play list, get it downloaded before the DLC Burning Shores drops in April. We’re also big fans of The Quarry here at GAMINGbible so do give that a go.
