Select PlayStation Plus users can grab a bonus free game as part of February 2023's impressive lineup.
For those who missed the news earlier this week (or last week if you follow certain leakers), it's been confirmed that the PlayStation Plus games for February 2023 are: OlliOlli World (PS4/5), Evil Dead: The Game (PS4/5), Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4), and the Destiny 2 Beyond Light DLC (PS4/5).
Not a bad lineup at all, is it? We’re especially into OlliOlli World at GAMINGbible. In our 9/10 review of the game, we wrote: “Its sleek, satisfying gameplay coupled with luscious graphics and sounds - both pristine and punchy - make it a must-buy.”
While those are plenty of games to be getting on with, PS Plus users in Asia can get themselves an extra little something. As spotted over on the PlayStation Plus subreddit, it looks like Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will be available as a bonus freebie for subscribers in that region.

Certain territories getting extra or slightly different games is nothing new, of course. It's also worth noting that you're really not missing out that much on this particular free game. Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is a relatively average JRPG that didn't exactly set the world alight when it released back in 2020. Then again, I suppose the entire point of PlayStation Plus free games is to check out things you usually wouldn't.
Anyway, the free games for February will be made available for subscribers next Tuesday (February 7). That means you've not got long to download January's free games: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76. It's definitely worth checking out Fallen Order ahead of the sequel Jedi: Survivor. It may have been delayed, but it’s still just a few months from release. Make sure you're ready!
