A former PlayStation console exclusive -and PlayStation 5 launch title - is making its way to Xbox platforms next month. Just, maybe don't get too excited about this one.
The PS5 had a pretty solid mix of launch titles when it released back in 2020. Exclusives like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon's Souls paired nicely with upgraded third-party adventures like Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Unfortunately, they couldn't all be bangers.
Godfall, the action RPG from Counterplay Games and Gearbox, is one of those launch titles that feels like a launch title. It's absolutely fine, and utterly inoffensive! But it's also entirely forgettable. You can see where I'm going with this, right? Strap in for a good time, Xbox fans, because Godfall is coming to a console near you.

Take a look at the game in action below!
Godfall's Xbox port has been rumoured for a while now, but Counterplay made it official last night. Godfall: Ultimate Edition will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on April 7. That's the base game along with all previous expansions and pre-order bonuses. I bet you're absolutely made up at this news, aren't you?
Oh, Godfall will also be making its way to Steam, having previously been an Epic exclusive on PC.

"Godfall: Ultimate Edition is the pinnacle of the epic high fantasy adventure we set out to make when developing our ambitious next-gen RPG," said Counterplay's game director Daniel Nordlander in a press release. "Ultimate Edition not only opens the realms of Aperion to Xbox and Steam players, but also contains the recently announced Exalted Update, our latest and largest addition to the game. The combination of several major fan-driven changes and new platform availability truly makes this the absolute best time for anyone to join the fight against Macros."
