In an era where exclusives don’t stay exclusive for long, one hit Xbox title is finally making its way onto the PlayStation 5, and it is about time.
With video game exclusives not being as permanent as they once were and instead tending to work with timed exclusivity, it is not at all surprising to see one beloved Xbox title heading to PlayStation 5 later this year.
The title in question is Senua's Saga: Hellblade II which was first released on the Xbox Series X/S back in 2024 but will be making its way to the PlayStation 5 on 12 August.

As a sequel to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II received generally positive reviews from critics with many praising its art direction, visuals and sound design.
Not only that but actor Melina Juergens, who plays the role of Senua, went on to win Best Performance at the 2024 The Game Awards.
For those who missed out on Senua's Saga: Hellblade II due to its Xbox exclusivity, the wait is over as the hit title makes its way to the PlayStation 5 in a matter of weeks as announced by Sony itself.
Additionally, for players who own Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on the PlayStation 4, they will receive a free upgrade to its PS5 version on 12 August and this comes alongside enriched visuals and enhancements.

Last but not least, the Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Deluxe Edition can be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store right now and comes in at $69.99.
Here at GAMINGbible, our very own Richard Lee Breslin called Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II “an impressive yet safe sequel” in his review.
He scored it an 8/10 and his review read as follows: “Hellblade II is the absolute pinnacle of visual and audio design which in some part makes up for the lack of gameplay evolution. Depending on how you approach games, like me, you could easily spend 10 hours being fully immersed in its story and tracking down hidden collectibles."
He continued, "Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II knows what it is and that’s a cinematic experience with a rich story that will keep you engaged throughout. It strives to not outdo its welcome and it will have you thinking about Senua’s journey long after its completion.”
