Xbox Series S free consoles available now, but you only have 24 hours

The clock is ticking

You can currently get your hands on a free Xbox Series S, but I should probably warn you that you only have 24 hours left to do so at the time of writing. If you're reading this much later than the day of publication (2 March), I fear I can't help you.

The latest generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles may still feel like they're finding their feet, but there are some bangers to be had. PlayStation has put out some killer exclusives, like The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, while Xbox has given us the likes of Starfield and Hi-Fi Rush.

So, if you're in the market for a shiny new Xbox Series S, Virgin Media recently launched a new incentive through which you can net yourself Microsoft's digital console for free. While the Xbox Series S isn't quite as powerful as its older brother, the Series X, it's still a mighty lil' machine that'll get you where you need to go.

Until 3 March, Virgin Media is offering new customers a choice for £200 of credit, or a brand-new Xbox Series S. Sign up, and you'll get your console in the post. That's pretty much it. Of course, switching internet provider might be the last thing you want to do, and I doubt a new console would really swing it for you. But if you were already looking to switch it up, this could be perfect for you. I don't know your life.

It's worth noting these deals appear to come and go fairly regularly, so while it currently appears to be limited until 3 March, I would suspect something similar will come back around soon enough. Just please be aware new customers will need to sign up to one of these packages for a total of 18 months, so it's a big commitment.
