Xbox Game Pass is basically free right now, but you don't have forever

I'll buy that for a dollar!

Do you fancy getting an Xbox Game Pass subscription for less than the price of a pack of chewing gum? Of course you do, that’s why you clicked on this article.

Well, it’s your lucky day in that case, because you can currently grab two weeks of Xbox Game Pass from Microsoft for one whole dollar– but of course, there’s a catch.

The catch is that said Xbox Game Pass subscription is only for the PC Game Pass tier, so you won’t actually be able to use it on an Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, or an Xbox One. As the name implies, this is (as the name implies) PC only.

Still, if you do own a PC, getting a fortnight of free games for less than the cost of… huh, everything is so expensive these days that I can’t actually think of anything that costs less than a dollar. Uhh, for less than the cost of… three Freddos?

Anyway, my point is that it’s a good deal (as long as you don’t forget to cancel the subscription before the two weeks are up, which is definitely what Microsoft wants you to do by accident).

So, how do you claim this offer? Just head on over to the official Xbox site and scroll down to the subscription options, and you should see the PC Game Pass deal waiting for you.

Also, if you’re worried that this deal might only be for people who haven’t subscribed to Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass before, I can assure you that it isn’t.

That’s because I logged into my Xbox account to check, and I can still claim the deal even though I’ve definitely taken advantage of the same deal before.

No way to tell when this offer will expire though, so jump on it ASAP if you’re keen!
