Xbox Game Pass is adding a whopping 120 free games to the service catalog.
No, that’s not your eyes deceiving you. There really are over 100 free games confirmed to be coming to the service as the year goes on.
This is in addition to the games already announced to be coming to Game Pass, such as Gears of War: Reloaded, Subnautica 2, and The Outer Worlds 2.
Antstream, the developer behind Retro Classics, has announced that its roadmap for the rest of 2025 includes approximately 120 new titles coming to the service throughout the year (thanks, GameRant).

Retro Classics is an app for Xbox Game Pass that allows access to over 50 classic games from the early days of gaming.
When we say early, we mean it. These are games for old platforms such as the Atari 2600 and DOS. The kind of games that your dad (or even grandad) would have played when they were younger.
The titles featured on the app include the likes of Zork, Mechwarrior, and Space Quest. With the announcement that over 100 games are being added to the app, presumably this will go beyond Activision-published games and may include games from other publishers. We assume it'll still be games from Xbox-owned publishers though.
It’s a good chance to relive the glory days when gaming felt new and fresh. If you’re an older gamer, it’ll be a throwback for you. If you’re on the younger side though, it’s a chance to see how far we’ve come in terms of raw console power.

The Retro Classics app for Xbox includes achievements, challenges, and high-score rankings that encourage you to compete on the leaderboards against your mates.
Antstream is also the developer of Antstream Arcade, a separate app that gives access to over 1,400 games ranging from the early Atari platforms, all the way to the Game Boy and Sony PlayStation.
There’s no confirmed date yet for when these 120 games will be added to the service, so we recommend keeping an eye on the app for when Antstream drops them.
