Halo Infinite is in the "best state it's ever been in," says fans

In a surprising turn of events, I’ve actually been loving Halo Infinite recently, and it seems like other fans are too.

Months after its launch, and after a lot of post-launch updates, Halo Infinite finally resembles an actual Halo game, though there’s still a lot of work to be done.

Check out the trailer for the latest season of Halo Infinite, Reckoning, below

When it launched in 2021, Halo Infinite was an absolute mess, with little to no content, no progression, connectivity issues, and more microtransactions than you can shake an Energy Sword at.

After a lot of outrage, and losing most of its players, 343 Industries finally got to work fixing the game, and so far, they’ve done an astounding job. Each update has added more customisation, maps, modes, weapons and plenty of quality-of-life improvements, and fans are loving all of it.

One fan recently expressed their support and admiration for 343 Industries, in a post saying: “Halo Infinite is in the best state it’s ever been in … Not a single soul thought it was possible to bounce back from the horrid, disgusting, lackluster launch of the game. And they still haven’t recovered entirely, but I feel they’re well on their way. “

Myself and other fans were right there with them, agreeing that while the game still isn’t perfect, it’s leaps and bounds ahead of where it was, and will only get better with each new update.

“I’ve been enjoying this season. Everything they’ve added has been pretty good. I’m hoping they can start adding in more weapons.”

“I mean every update makes it the best its ever been lol. I don't think anyone wants to go back to less content and a buggier experience. I am very happy with the current state of the game, though, now that content updates seem to be somewhat regular.”

“Only need a couple more QOL changes like full cross-core customization, better net code, and fixing the custom games browser issues … and it’ll be damn near perfect, as long as the consistent content drops (new maps, weapons, equipment) continue.”

It’s a shame it took so long for Halo Infinite to finally be worth playing, but at least we’re here though there’s reportedly plenty more content on the horizon. Hopefully tha includes playable Elites…
