The Elder Scrolls VI could in theory be an Xbox exclusive, which could be the final nail in the coffin for Xbox if it’s feeling brazen.
Xbox as a company is on a bit of a downward spiral at the moment, only really being kept afloat by Xbox Game Pass and its day one exclusives, like Doom: The Dark Ages.
Doom: The Dark Ages comes out later this week and the reviews have been pretty good so far
The biggest sin Xbox has committed so far is raising the price of its hardware, and it’s not done yet as the price of its first-party games is set to increase later this year too.

Now there are concerns that it could make one of the biggest upcoming games of all time, The Elder Scrolls VI, exclusive to its own platform, but this seems highly unlikely.
“With many Xbox games making their way to PS5, I’m starting to wonder if Elder Scrolls 6 is still planned as an Xbox/PC exclusive” said one Reddit user on the matter.
Others quickly chimed in to say that was never confirmed by Xbox or Bethesda, and they doubt it’ll be an exclusive as it’d be “cutting out a huge market with PS5.”
It was also pointed out that the “ESIV remaster was released on PS5” so it seems unlikely it'll make the next mainline game an exclusive.

“This is one of the most anticipated games probably ever” said another, “making it an exclusive for any platform would probably be one of the biggest blunders in gaming history or at least this decade.”
Xbox has been pretty clear recently that it really doesn’t care about exclusive games anymore, especially with Gears Of War coming to PlayStation and Halo likely following soon after
Making The Elder Scrolls VI an exclusive would not only be a terrible idea, but potentially the biggest screw up Xbox has ever made, which is saying a lot because the Kinect is still a thing.
